Information for law firms
UPJ Pro Bono Rechtsberatung is an offer for interested law firms, but also for individual lawyers prepared to provide legal support for non-profit organisations free of charge and for a limited term.
Organisations’ legal advisory needs are as diverse as the non-profit landscape itself and range from their legal establishment to drafting employment contracts and grant agreements and dealing with IP issues.
As a ‘clearinghouse’, UPJ reviews the organisations applying for support and processes their pro bono requests to clarify the brief and the objective of the legal advice sought, enabling the parties to start work straight away. Organisations are assessed based on a checklist. Please note that pro bono matters are subject to professional conduct rules in all respects. For further information, please refer to the FAQs.
